We were able to have early check in. The room was clean and well appointed. Towels and toiletries were supplied. All the staff were extremely friendly: good village pub banter and food. Lovely varied continental breakfast. Neil even fetched his own TV remote to replace the one in our room as it didn't work.

Lovely hotel/ pub in a beautiful village very close to the motorway- although it felt like a million miles from the noise and traffic. A perfect stopover, a great find. Friendly helpful staff too.

We loved the warm welcome, the new barman was particularly lovely, the chef was great - the Greek pizza on specials menu was delicious. All staff friendly making our stay easy and the continental breakfast was good, inc fruit and cereal.
